Characters
Summary
A drunk woman plucks a hair from her male friend's head, and identifies him as a Parasite, but she ends up being killed anyway. Elsewhere, Kana has a dream in which Shinichi appears as a knight in shining armor. Shinichi warns her again to stay away if she feels a telepathic attraction to anyone.
Migi recommends that he tay away from Kana, who, despite speaking with Murano, is determined to become the object of Shinichi's affections. Meanwhile, Gotou, a new Parasite, tests his ability to confront a group of people possessing guns and edged weapons by killing an office of Yakuza gang members. He regroups with fellow Parasite Kusano afterwards.
On a date with Shinichi, Murano suspects he had changed ever since he left town to visit his father in hospital. He witnesses a child acting disrespectfully to his mother, and has a strong emotional reaction. Even after kissing Shinichi, Murano doubts he is who he says he is.
While waiting to meet Kana the next day, Migi detects several Parasites, concentrated at an election rally led by candidate Takeshi Hirokawa. Also at the scene are Kusano and Gotou.
The episode ends with Shinichi realizing Gotou has detected him.
